NPDC will install a roundabout part-way up Airport Drive to connect to the Parklands Avenue extension. This will ensure safe access to the state highway for the eastern end of Bell Block and Area Q. Status: Planning

Note: this work will take place at the same time as Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency carries out a safety improvement project on SH3, which includes a new roundabout at De Havilland Drive/SH3 and realigning Airport Drive.
